My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The location was convenient and quiet, with a rooftop view over the news, close to Oxford Street and local amenities. The service was friendly, but the rooms were disappointing with cleanliness and lack of amenities. Dining was pricey compared to the quality offered.
Rooms
5.0
The room I stayed in was very dirty, with mouth prints still on the glass, a large collection of dust on the grill, and a shower that looked disgusting. The room was tiny, with no water or milk for coffee, no aircon, and various broken handles.
Service
7.0
The staff were really nice and helpful about the noise issues and other problems I encountered.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location was very convenient, accessible, and quiet, making it the reason for my booking. It's situated about half-way between the Metropolitan line and the Central line, both within easy walking distance.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience was pricey at £10 per person, adding up to £26 for two, without offering matching quality. The French bread was the only highlight.

6.6/10
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was perfect for exploring London, with easy access to key areas, but the rooms were disappointing with old fixtures and furnishings. The service was friendly but lacked professionalism at times. Despite these issues, the hotel's proximity to attractions was a major plus.
Rooms
5.0
I stayed on the 5th floor, but the room was disappointing. The fixtures were old and broken, the window was dirty and stuck open, and the bed had stained mattress and smelly pillows.
Service
6.0
The staff, although friendly, had some odd behaviors like playing games on the phone while attending to guests. There were also some lapses in professionalism during interactions.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location was a standout feature, being centrally located near key areas like Oxford Street and the West End, making it convenient for exploring the city.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience was underwhelming with limited options, and the pricing seemed high for what was offered.

6.0/10
The hotel is located in a very nice area of London, on Portland Place, perfect for exploring Oxford Street and the bustling West End. The rooms, although up to expectations, were unfortunately dirty and extremely run-down. The service was somewhat lacking, with staff playing games on their phones and not fully knowledgeable about the establishment. The dining experience, priced at £10 per person, was not reflective of a 4-star hotel. Despite some drawbacks, the hotel is in a great central location offering easy access to shopping, dining, and entertainment in London.
Rooms
5.0
The rooms were up to expectations but dirty and extremely run-down, with the shower pulled off the wall.
Service
5.0
The staff seemed distracted, with one individual playing a game on his phone, and there was some confusion about the management. However, they were available for an accident book.
Location
7.0
The hotel is located in a very nice area of London, on Portland Place, ideal for exploring Oxford Street and the vibrant West End. However, the immediate surroundings may give off an abandoned impression.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience did not match the expected standards of a 4-star hotel, and with a puzzling pricing structure of £10 per person, the value for money was questionable.
